Why TypeScript for this

Fee collection is where school ERP either earns its keep or fails. Indian fee structures carry concessions, sibling discounts, instalments and late fees, and a rigid fee module is the fastest route to abandonment.

TypeScript is strongest at one language across client and server, with types catching integration errors at build time. For school management erp that matters because the failure modes of this kind of system tend to cluster exactly there.

The honest trade-off: the ML ecosystem is in Python, so heavy model work lives there. We say that up front because a stack chosen for fashion rather than fit becomes someone's migration project two years later. Integration comes before intelligence. A model that cannot reach your systems of record is a demo with good manners.

You own the code, the models where they are open-weight, and the documentation to run it without us.

We are not a reseller for TypeScript and hold no commission on this choice. Where a different option fits your workload better, the recommendation will say so. That is the entire value of asking us.

What is included

  • Admissions from enquiry through to enrolment
  • Fee structures with concessions, instalments and online collection
  • Attendance for students and staff, including biometric integration
  • Examination, grading and report-card generation to your format
  • Parent app with attendance, fees, results and circulars
  • Transport, hostel and library modules where the institution needs them

Questions

Can it handle our fee structure?

That is the first thing we map. Concessions, sibling discounts, instalment plans, late fees and transport slabs vary enormously, and the fee engine is built around yours rather than a template.

Will parents use the app?

If it shows attendance, fees and results simply and works on a modest phone, yes. Adoption drops sharply when it demands a login parents forget or a large download.

When should we implement?

Between academic sessions wherever possible. Mid-session migration means running two systems in parallel, which is avoidable pain.
