Supabase is strongest at production-grade auth and RLS without building them, on standard Postgres you can leave. We reach for it when that is the property a workload actually depends on, and we say so when it is not.

We build the smallest thing that proves the case, put it in front of real users, and expand only what earns its keep. You own the code, the models where they are open-weight, and the documentation to run it without us.
